PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly constitute a connection part without a possibility of fatigue failure in connecting structure for steel members of closed cross section. SOLUTION: In the connection part 24 of the steel pipe members 22, 23, a wall surface near the end connection parts 27, 35 of both members 22, 23 is provided with an outward bulged annular projecting part 33. Both members 22, 23 are arranged in prescribed relative positions, and concrete 34 is placed in the connection part 24 including the projecting part 33 (a recessed part 32) and integrated with the connection members 22, 23.
