PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment furnace having a heating body preventing uneven heating of a treated material and excellent in handling property. SOLUTION: In the heat treatment furnace, the heating body 27 provided in a treatment chamber 23 is constituted by connecting a bottom part 28 provided at the bottom side of a conveyance roller 24 conveying the treated material 2, so as to face the conveyance roller 24, a side part 29 extended from the bottom part 28 to the upper side of the conveyance roller 24. The entire heating body 27 having the bottom part 28 curved in a semicircular shape, and the side part 29 linearly extended and connected to both ends of the bottom part 28, is formed in a U-shape. The side part 29 and the bottom part 28 are constituted by combining a number of wires made of tungsten having a wire diameter of about 1 mm in mesh state.
