PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an adjustment by light operation force even when body weight is applied to a tip part of a seat cushion in a seat vertical device. SOLUTION: A driving mechanism 5 of the seat vertical device is installed in either one of a cushion frame 41 or a base board part 31, and has a shaft 52 having a first shaft part 52b and a second shaft part 52a eccentric to the first shaft part 52b, a fixed gear member 56 having a first internal teeth gear rotatably supported on the first shaft part, a driving arm 6 rotatably supported on the first shaft part 52b, and having a second internal teeth gear 65 of the tooth number different from the first internal teeth gear 57, and a pinion 54 for meshing with the first and second internal teeth gears 52b and 52a on the second shaft part 52a.
