PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control and acoustic insulating material having enriched flexibility and excellent vibration control, acoustic insulating, anti- abrasion and anti-injuring characteristics and also high strength, in which transparency and the above-mentioned physical characteristics can be maintained even when it contains a high concentration of a filler and a flame retardant. SOLUTION: A vibration control and acoustic insulating material comprises a hydrogenated copolymer component (1) obtained by hydrogenation of a copolymer of a conjugated diene compound and a vinyl aromatic compound, in which (a) a content of a vinyl aromatic compound in the hydrogenated copolymer is 50-90 wt.%, (b) a block content of a vinyl aromatic compound in the hydrogenated copolymer is not higher than 40 wt.%, (c) a weight average molecular weight of the hydrogenated copolymer is 50,000 to 1,000,000 and (d) not less than 75% of a double bond in the conjugated diene compound is hydrogenated, a thermoplastic resin and/or a rubbery polymer component (2), and further a filler and/or a flame retardant (3).
