FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of vegetables on weakly developed, seasonably dry-land or water-logged land. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting ridges having different parameters for single pass of machine-and-tractor unit so that two ridges of 180 cm are formed per one ridge-track of 140 cm. Method allows two-line sowing of sapling crops and multiple-line sowing of crops other than sapling crops to be provided. Method allows moisture condition in root layer to be optimized, moisture retention in ridges to be improved during drought season and disposal of excessive moisture during monsoon season to be enhanced. EFFECT: improved uniformity of plant feeding area, uniform density of planting on feeding area, improved crop yield and increased efficiency of machine-and-tractor unit. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
