FIELD: filtration technology; separation of liquid and solid suspensions; food-processing, chemical and petrochemical industries; treatment of sewage. SUBSTANCE: filter includes thrust and hold-down plates with filter plate stack between them; filter plates are movable in horizontal plate by means of motion mechanism. Pressure filter includes also unit for delivery of reagents during treatment of suspensions and acidifying filtrate escaping from filter. Each filter plate has embossed bottom. Proposed filter ensures increase of its capacity by 2.5 times. EFFECT: reduced cost; enhanced efficiency. 14 cl, 3 dwg
