<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device advantageous in a cost, and capable of enhancing processing efficiency for an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has a motor drive using a stepping motor 101 and supplying a current by a constant current chopper control system, as a driving source for a paper conveying system, and has a chopping detecting means 201, a counting means 201 for counting a frequency of chopping, a comparison means 201 for comparing the frequency of the chopping with a reference frequency, a step-out detecting means 201 for judging step-out when the chopping frequency is judged to exceed the reference frequency, an inversion roller 39 for conveying paper to the second direction reverse to the first direction after conveying the paper to the first direction at first, and a paper detecting means 102 provided in an inversion position. In the image forming device, the inversion roller 39 starts paper conveying control to the second direction without bringing judgement as step-out jamming when the paper detecting means 102 detects the recording paper, even when detecting the step-out during the conveyance of the paper to the first direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
