<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device using a diffuse reflection structure which can form a reflecting film which an uneven surface formed through a simple process, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with a diffuse reflecting structure (7, 8) having a light diffusing function of reflecting incident light while diffusing it. The diffuse reflecting structure has a basic shape layer (7) which is formed on a base body layer (1, 20) and has an uneven surface and a light reflecting layer (8) which is formed on the basic shape layer (7) and has an uneven surface conforming with its uneven surface. The basic shape layer (7) is formed of a radiation- or heat-sensitive resin having unevenness on its surface through a pressure-reduced drying process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
