摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply source voltages which are suitable to electronic flashes of a plurality of types whose high-voltage external input terminals are different in withstand voltage. SOLUTION: A voltage control circuit which performs control for specifying the boosting voltage of a boosting circuit generating a high voltage for charging a capacitor is so constituted that the voltage division ratio of a voltage dividing circuit dividing an output voltage (the voltage across the capacitor) is varied by connecting a power source connection cord for an electronic flash connecting this device to an electronic flash device; and the divided voltage of the voltage dividing circuit is fed as a voltage to be controlled back to the control circuit to vary the boosting voltage of the boosting circuit according to the withstand voltage at the high-voltage external input terminal of the electronic flash device. Consequently, proper source voltages can be supplied, which are suitable for electronic flash devices of a plurality of types whose high-voltage external input terminals are different in withstand voltage.
