PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a navigation system to continuously make route guidance by dividing its display screen into two or more divided screens, and displaying a presearched route on one divided screen even while a plurality of routes is compared on the other divided screen. SOLUTION: The display screen of the navigation system is divided into two or more divided screens, the first one of a plurality of guiding routes is displayed on one or more divided screens, and a second guiding route which is different from the first route is displayed together with the first route on one or more divided screens other than the divided screens displaying the first route.
