PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean cooling air sucked in a projector by a filter. SOLUTION: The protective cabinet housing the projector in which a light source lamp and a fan for cooling inside are incorporated and which projects an input signal from outside as a video and to protect the projector from being soiled by outdoor air due to the smoke of a cigarette and dust or the like possesses an outdoor air intake 15, a projector housing part 5a with a cover, a discharge port 18 provided at a position corresponding to the discharge part 88 of the projector 8, the filter 3 provided at the outdoor air intake 15 so as to be replaceable, an intake fan 6 equipped on the downstream side of the filter and a window hole 17 provided at a position corresponding to the projection lens 82 of the projector 8 so as to prevent the entering of the outdoor air.
