PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reduction of the cost in manufacturing a lens cap and to improve the versatility in use. SOLUTION: The lens cap is constituted so that the shape of the attaching part of an operation part 2 to a cap main body 1 is rotationally asymmetric with respect to an axis orthogonal to the main body 1 while making the shapes of the individual parts of the operation part 2 nearly the same.
