PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcibly form a cooling material passage space between a deposited debris and the inside surface of a pressure vessel by assuming a reactor core meltdown accident of a nuclear reactor and thereby to further the cooling of the deposited debris. SOLUTION: This nuclear reactor pressure vessel is so structured that an inside wall 10 is so formed along the inside surface of the bottom of the pressure vessel 2 as to form the cooling material passage space 9 between the inside surface and itself, and molten sediments are deposited on the inside wall 10.
