PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting fitting for an exterior wall material and an execution method using the mounting fitting, which simplify execution of work for presenting straightness of a joint part of the exterior wall material and prevent rainwater from being retained in a second locking part of the mounting fitting. SOLUTION: First locking parts 2a and 2b for locking a lower end of the upper exterior wall material, which is bent upward, are locked to both of approximately horizontal ends of a central part of a front surface of a plate body-shaped mounting fitting body 1 for the exterior wall material; the second locking part 3, which is suspended so as to lock an upper end of the lower exterior wall material, is formed between the first locking parts 2a and 2b; and a cut-downward piece 5 is suspended in an approximately central part of a horizontal part 4 of the second locking part 3 so that a header can be seen from a front surface.
