PURPOSE: A method and system for managing a credit card for storing purchase details is provided to supply detailed information with respect to items paid by a credit card for a credit card possessor and to supply statistics information with respect to a consumption pattern of the credit card possessor. CONSTITUTION: If a credit card possessor selects an item to be purchased in a store and selects a credit card as a payment unit(S310), purchased item information is inputted in a purchase information reader connected to a credit card member store client(S320). In addition, credit card related information is collected through a card reader(S330), and a credit card transaction approval is requested. After the credit card transaction is approved(S340), in the case that item information purchased by the credit card possessor is stored in a store system(S350), the corresponding item and price information thereof are arranged(S370) and stored in a server system of the store(S374).
