摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling beam divergence angle of a copper vapor laser is provided to control a diameter of a diaphragm and the beam divergence angle and the remote output density of a laser beam by installing a beam splitter and the diaphragm within a hemisphere resonator. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling beam divergence angle of a copper vapor laser includes a discharge tube(10), a concave mirror(13), a beam splitter(14), a planar mirror(15), and a diaphragm(16). The discharge tube includes laser gas including Ne. The first and the second windows(11,12) are installed at both ends of the discharge tube. The concave mirror is used for outputting an oscillated laser beam as a parallel beam. The beam splitter is used for splitting the laser beam of the concave mirror. The planar mirror is used for feeding back the split laser beam to the concave mirror. The diaphragm is used for controlling the beam divergence angle of the laser beam which is feed back by the planar mirror.
