INK JET RECORDING MATERIAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an ink jet recording material being excellent in gloss and ink absorbing properties and in ink bleeding and flaw resistance and having a uniform coating surface.

SOLUTION: The ink jet recording material is manufactured by a method wherein a coating solution of at least one ink receiving layer (A) containing vapor-phase silica as a main body and a coating solution of at least one surface coating layer containing colloidal silica as the main substance are applied in this sequence on a water-resistant substrate. The coating solution of the ink receiving layer A contains a water-soluble metal compound, while the colloidal silica is cationic and the coating solution of the surface coating layer contains an organic binder.
