PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a turnout opening direction in the rail road track displaying information of the opening and non-opening of the turnout on a maintenance vehicle using the communication means. SOLUTION: The device consists of a detection means 3, information record means 4, 5, a transmitting/receiving means 17 and a display means 18. The detection means 3 detects a state of the opening and non-opening of the turnout C by the motion of tongue rail respectively. The information record means 4, 5 is installed inside track of the approaching side of the maintenance vehicle 15 in the straight track A and the branching road B respectively and equipped with the ID tag 7 which writes in the information from the detection signal of the detection means 3 by inputting with the communication means and is automatically rewritable for the information based on the write-in information. The transmitting/receiving means 17 is carried on the maintenance vehicle 15 and reads the output signal from the information record means 4, 5.
