PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix the side rim parts 31a, 32a of a floor mat 30 laid on the floor of a vehicle, and to reduce a cost, in a vehicular air conditioner structured so that an evaporator and a heater core are disposed at an almost center in the instrument panel of the vehicle by integrating them to one air conditioning unit. SOLUTION: A floor tunnel 28 extending frontward and backward in the almost center of a vehicle width direction is formed on an inclined wall part 13b on the lower side of a vehicle dash panel 13. A floor mat 30 is divided to the right and left side ones with the floor tunnel 28 acting as a boarder. On the bottom part of the casing 4 of the air conditioning unit 2, a pair of right and left pressing ribs 33, 34 are integrally formed so as to press respective side rim parts 31a, 32a of undivided parts 31, 32 on the both right and left sides of the floor mat 30 hung on the upper surface 28a of the floor tunnel 28. The pressing rib 33, 34 is each divided into front and rear parts, and a space large enough for entry of a worker's finger is secured between them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
