FILTER BASKET FOR RAINFALL OVERFLOW

PURPOSE: Provided is a rainfall flow filter basket for removing contaminants such as plastic, heavy metals, oil/grease and organic materials from rainfall overflow before the rainfall overflow goes into a sewage system. CONSTITUTION: The basket (B) comprises a cylinder shape housing (H) with air slots (S) at a lower portion thereof, a filter (F) installed in the housing (H) for removing fine particles from rain flow, an absorbent bed(14) surrounded by the filter (F) for moving contaminants from rainfall overflow, a water storage space(20) provided inside of the absorbent bed(14) so that water passed through the filter (F) and bed(14) flows therein, a discharge pipe(18) connected to a lower end of the housing (H) for discharging water in the water storage space(20), a valve(34) coupled to the discharging pipe(18) for controlling water level of the water storage space(20) by discharging the water, and a one-direction valve coupled to an upper portion of the housing (H) for exhausting air from the water storage space(20) when rainfall overflow flows into the housing (H).
