FIELD: testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: device for testing strength of channel solid-propellant charges includes charge proper whose channel is filled up with liquid, and cover with holes to seal the channel. Device contains loading unit including impact-action mechanism and piston. Piston is installed in cover hole and is arranged in liquid. Impact-action mechanism is installed on one axis with piston. Invention makes it possible to develop simple device for testing strength of channel solid-propellant charges providing high gradient loading of solid-propellant charge by radial pressure differential.
