<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood fan capable of improving the efficiency of collecting ascending air currents even if a heat-cooking apparatus is of an electromagnetic induction cooking heater type. <P>SOLUTION: In this range hood fan, a gap S is secured between the right and left side plates 112 and 111 of a hood body 11, in which a straightening plate 12 is contained, and the plate 12, and an exhaust device 3, which sacks an ascending air current F from the gap S, is installed behind the plate 12, and the plate 12 is formed into a form so as to have a guide face 121 including a portion against which the ascending air current F collides and facing downward, and a curled face 122, which is curved into an arc-shape facing forward and continuously with the guide face 121, and a cover 7 is also provided with a control flow jetting port section 5 for jetting a vortex force increasing control flow E upward and diagonally from a downward position in the direction of the tangential line to the vortex current Q to be generated, and an in-take section 28 is arranged at a position, to which the ascending air current F doesn't face, for taking the control flow E jetted from the port section 5 into a room. Through such constitution, exhaust air is exhausted outside of a building by achieving a high collecting efficiency by generating a vortex flow of specified force stably without preventing the ascending air current F from rising and without sucking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
