PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device capable of preventing distortion or looseness even if a top plate is a thin plate member by surely pressing the entire circumferential edge of an opening of the top plate in the vicinity of a burner against the side of a casing, and allowing a dripping pan to be dismounted. SOLUTION: The entire circumferential edge of the opening 16b of the top plate 16 corresponding to the burner 34 is caught by ring-like packing 26 from the upper and lower directions. The peripheral edge 22b of a top plate stopping plate 22 is overlapped and mounted on a stepped part of the packing 26. Top plate stopping plate fixing plates 28 and 30 are mounted at two positions on the undersurface of the circumferential edge of an opening 22a of the stopping plate 22. By thus fixing the stopping plate 22, the entire circumferential edge of the opening 16b of the top plate 16 is restrained by the stopping plate 22 from the upper side and evenly fixed.
