PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dike for a low temperature liquid storage tank capable of simplifying the construction and largely reducing a material cost. SOLUTION: This dike comprises a ground 1, a sand layer 2, a concrete segment 3, and placed thermal insulating concrete 4. The segment 3 is disposed with an L-shaped anchor member 11 in the joint part with its lower end part locked to the segment, an annular seat plate member 13 is attached to a part projecting over the joint part, and the thermal insulating concrete 4 is placed with a soft polyurethane foam molding material 14 erected and fixed on the segment.
