PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivating water supply device capable of steadily supplying water to a plant cultivating space using rainwater without requiring time and labor. SOLUTION: This plant cultivating water supply device 1 has a water retentive layer 3 of laying gravel 4 in a specific width and the depth around the plant cultivating space 2 outside of a building. The rainwater gathered in a roof surface 9 flows down via a vertical gutter or a proper water introducing passage 6 similar to this gutter from an eaves gutter 5, and permeates in the water retentive layer 3.
