PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a sewer main pipe and a manhole easy in construction, and causing little reduction in strength of the manhole. SOLUTION: This connecting structure A of the sewer main pipe and the manhole has a small diameter cylinder part 21 for externally fitting the sewer main pipe 1, a large diameter cylinder part 22, a rubber joint 2 having a collar part 23 for abutting to a manhole outer wall surface 63, a presser plate 4 arranged on the annular space 20 side of the collar part 23, a support ring 3 having a cylindrical part, a flange part 33, and an anchor 34, and an upper anchor 5 having a manhole side locking part 51 for locking a manhole inner wall surface 62 on the upper side of an installing hole 61, and having a connecting part 55 connected to a joint side locking part 54 by straddling a manhole wall 60. A bolt 41 is screwed in respective screw holes, and the rubber joint 2 is fixed to the installing hole 61 of the manhole 6 via the support ring 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
