PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope maintenance device capable of removing dust or the like in relatively wide range. SOLUTION: With energizing force of springs 24, 25 and 33, a pair of cleaning bodies 22 and 23, and a cleaning body 32 are slidably contacted each peripheral surface of a rope body 12 and a roller body 11 respectively in the relatively wide range, and the dust or the like adhered to the peripheral surfaces of the rope body 12 and the roller body 11 can be effectively removed.
