PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding core which stops an article to be wound with a hung paper for winding and can produce inexpensive rolls for winding the article to be wound. SOLUTION: This winding core 1 comprises a cylindrically formed paper tube 2 for winding a paper tape in a plurality of layers in the spiral state, an outer layer 3 in which a paperboard with the width almost equal to the width of the paper tube 2 is wound so that the MD direction accords with the axial direction of the paper tube 2, and a one end of the paperboard constituting the outer layer 3, and is provided with the hung part 4 for holding the article to be wound with the outer layer 3. The one end and the other end of the paperboard constituting the outer layer 3 and the suspended part 4 are machined so that the thickness is thinned toward the end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
