PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for releasing energy from a hydrogen atom (molecule) by deriving an electron to be relieved to a lower energy level than quantized 'normal state' and a smaller radius (smaller half major axis and half minor axis). SOLUTION: An energy sink and an energy hole can be supplied with at least one electron transmission between an atom, an ion, a molecule and a relating seed which involves a compound of the ion or the molecule. The invention is furthermore comprised of a functional group which supports a movable free hydrogen atom, a hydrogen overflowing catalyst having the functional group to dissociate molecular hydrogen for supplying a free hydrogen atom which overflows to the functional group able to be a source of an energy hole and a multi-functional group substance. An energy reaction apparatus involves one of an electrolytic cell, a pressurized hydrogen gas battery and a hydrogen gas discharging cell.
