PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a document turn-back phenomenon without enlarging an installation angle of a sheet feeding pan in a document sheet feeding part. SOLUTION: This document conveyer having a feed roller 412 for feeding a document d, and an elevatable elevation plate 520 for generating conveying force for abutting to the feed roller 412 to convey the document d is provided with a turn-back restraining member 526 for restraining return of the document to a document-conveying-directional downstream of the elevation plate 520.
