A fixture 100 for securing a workpiece W, comprising: a base; a plurality of locators 175 on the base for accepting the workpiece W; a plurality of arms 109,111, each pivotally secured to the base and a lever 151 for actuating the arms 109,111 against the workpiece W. The arms 109,111 positively position the workpiece W against the locators 175. The fixture is part of an electrical discharge machining (EDM) apparatus 10, which also includes a tank 17 and a holder 13 for supporting an electrode in said tank 17.
