PURPOSE: A method for setting a line of an automatic access dial phone mounting a liquid crystal display device thereon is provided to automatically deliver a dial tone at a time for a communication provider access number, a pause time, a prepaid/deferred card number, and a substantial subscriber number between a phone and a general phone communication network while setting an ACR(Automatic Call Routing) function, thereby reducing key inputting time. CONSTITUTION: Regardless of a hook-on/off state(S100) of a receiver, a system outputs a DTMF signal of an automatic access number while an ACR function is set(S102)(S104). If connected to a provider network(S106), the system stands by during a pause time(S108), and outputs the DTMF signal in accordance with an automatically selected menu(S110), then stands by again during the pause time(S112). The system outputs an automatic DTMF signal of a prepaid/deferred card number(S114). The system decides whether the receiver is in standby state(S116). If so, a user optionally inputs a telephone number of other party by inputting a key(S118)(S120). A call is made(S122).
