PURPOSE: An apparatus for dispensing liquid crystal having a nozzle cleaning device is provided to remove the liquid crystal on a surface of a nozzle for preventing the liquid crystal from conglomerating on the surface of the nozzle, thereby preventing inferiority of a liquid crystal display due to irregular thickness of a liquid crystal layer. CONSTITUTION: A main body(151) of a nozzle cleaning device(150) is placed adjacent to an apparatus for dispensing liquid crystal on a substrate including at least one or more liquid crystal panels. An absorbing pipe(153) is formed at the main body for absorbing the liquid crystal conglomerated on a surface of a nozzle. A vacuum pump(154) is connected with the absorbing pipe for absorbing the liquid crystal by making the absorbing pipe vacuous.
