PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber excellent in operating property by markedly improving its defects such that the fiber consisting of a liquid crystal-forming polyester on melting, easily forms fibrils by friction and has a low fatigue resistance. SOLUTION: This blended conjugated fiber is constituted by a liquid crystal- forming polyester on melting as an island component and a flexural thermoplastic polymer as a sea component, and the whole island component satisfies r/R≤0.3 by taking the fiber diameter as (R) and the diameter of the island component as (r) at the fiber cross section, and disperses all over the fiber cross section.
