PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable cyclic olefin (co)polymer giving an excellent chemical resistance and solvent resistance while keeping a high optical transparency, storage stability and heat resistance, and to provide its composition and a crosslinked material thereof. SOLUTION: The cyclic olefin (co)polymer has at least one kind of structural unit originating from a cyclic olefin having an oxetane structure and has a number average molecular weight of 5,000-1,500,000 based on polystyrene. The cyclic olefin (co)polymer composition containing the above (co)polymer and a reaction initiator for ring-opening an oxetanyl group, and the crosslinked material from this (co)polymer composition are provided.
