PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of displaying the maximum capability of a heat exchanger by partitioning the air passage of the heat exchanger into the front seat side and the back seat side, and by disposing a switching door means operated to a position where the entire air passage of the heat exchanger is used when required to increase air conditioning capability on the front seat side. SOLUTION: A switching door 38 for a back seat to partition the air passage of an evaporator 12 into a cool air bypass passage 15 for a front seat and a cool air bypass passage 34 for a back seat is provided on the air outlet side of a heater core 13, and the switching door 38 for the back seat is normally operated to a position where the cool bypass passage 15 for the front seat and the cool bypass passage 34 for the back seat are partitioned, and on the other hand, when required to increase cooling ability to the front seat side, the switching door 38 for the back seat is operated to a position where the entire air passage of the evaporator 12 becomes a passage for the front seat.
