摘要 PURPOSE: A red fluorescent substance by low temperature single process and its preparation method are provided, to enable a borate fluorescent substance to be easily synthesized in a low temperature by a single process, thereby reducing the time, the process and the cost. CONSTITUTION: The red fluorescent substance is represented by (Y1-x-yGdxEuy)BO3:MX, wherein 0.05<=x<=0.2, 0.02<=y<=0.15; M is a metal; X is a halogen atom; and the content of the MX is 4-30 wt%. Also the red fluorescent substance is represented by (Y1-xEux)BO3:MX, wherein 0.01<=x<=0.15; M is a metal; X is a halogen atom; and the content of the MX is 4-30 wt%. Preferably M is selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Al and La; and X is selected from the group consisting of F, Cl and I. The method comprises the steps of mixing yttrium nitrate and europium nitrate; adding metal halide to the mixture; adding 1.0-5 times volume of water to the mixture to dissolve them; adding boric acid to the solution with stirring; adding urea to the solution drop by drop, stirring the mixture and evaporating it to make a condensed solution; heating the solution at 300-600 deg.C for 5-30 min; and pulverizing the obtained white solid.
