PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set which can prevent the discoloration of a recorded image.

SOLUTION: The ink set is provided with at least a yellow ink, a magenta ink and a cyan ink, wherein the yellow ink contains at least C. I. Direct Yellow 98 as a coloring agent. The method of recording is provided which is characterized by using the ink set to form an image on a recording medium. The recorded matter is provided which is characterized in that it has an image formed on a recording medium by using the ink set.
