<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure hybrid travel and starting, ensure power generation and engine starting and prevent reduction in transmission efficiency via a simple structure and a small size. <P>SOLUTION: As a transmission device comprising an input shaft 2 into which torque from an engine is input via a clutch 1, and a gear train 3 and an output shaft 4 for torque transmission, a transmission device with a power source assembles the input shaft 2 from two input shafts 21 and 22; has two clutches 11 and 12 each comprising one element 111, 121 in communication with the engine, and the other element 112, 122 in communication with the two input shafts 21 and 22; and has a motor 5 serving as a power source in communication with the other element 112 of either 11 of the two clutches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
