<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device advantageous in a cost, and capable of enhancing working efficiency for treating jamming. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device has a motor drive using a stepping motor 101 and supplying a current by a constant current chopper control system, as a driving source for a paper conveying system, has a chopping detecting means 201, a counting means 201 for counting a frequency of chopping, a comparison means 201 for comparing the frequency of the chopping with a reference frequency, a step-out detecting means 201 for judging step-out when the chopping frequency is judged to exceed the reference frequency by the comparison means 201, a first paper conveying roller 102 driven by the stepping motor 101, a second paper conveying roller 106 positioned in an upstream thereof, and a driving source 105 for driving the second paper conveying roller 106, and the driving of the second paper conveying roller 106 is stopped when the stepping motor 101 is judged to be stepped out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
