<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type hot water supply system feeding supply water in a hot water storage tank without a turbulent flow, retaining the temperature of the hot water without disturbing a boundary surface with the hot water, and capable of efficiently feeding the hot water in the upper part of the hot water storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type hot water supply system is provided with the hot water storage tank 2 storing the hot water in its upper part and fed with the supply water in its lower part, and a return pipe 6 returning the hot water from a hot water supply pipe 5 near a faucet 51 fed with the hot water from the hot water storage tank 2 to the hot water storage tank 2. This system is provided with a tubular diffusing header 3 diffusing the supply water and feeding it to the hot water storage tank 2.
