<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which toner is completely electrified and an excellent image free from image staining caused by faulty cleaning is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, two-component developer for electrophotography incorporating toner for electrophotography incorporating silicone oil treated inorganic particulates, set so that the free ratio of silicone oil is 10 to 70%, magnetization is 10 to 25 emu/g in magnetic field of 398.1 kA/m (1 k oersted) and 7 to 20 emu/g in magnetic field of 79.6 kA/m (5 k oersted) or the toner for electrophotography and magnetic carrier is used. The apparatus is provided with a cleaning device which projects by specified amount and to which a cleaning blade is attached with abutting pressure of 20 g/cm to 40 g/cm in a counter direction toward the surface of an image carrier furthermore, whereby the excellent image is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
