PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective material which has a transparent light reflection layer, has retroreflective performance in various colors, is inexpensive, suppresses decrease in the retroreflective performance by long-term wear or washing, and shows excellent washing endurance and durability. SOLUTION: The material has successively deposited layers of transparent minute spheres 1 having≥1.7 refractive index, a transparent resin primer layer 2 having≤15μm thickness, a reflection layer made of a transparent metal thin film 3 having≥1.7 refractive index, and a fixing resin layer 4 partly embedding and holding the transparent minute spheres 1.
