PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decision method for a proliferation abnormality, especially a cancerous abnormality, of a cell by detecting a target polypeptide or coding mRNA. SOLUTION: The target polypeptide is a member of a DNA replication preinitiation complex in a tissue, the cell or a fluid. As the target polypeptide, CDC6, MCM2, MCM3, MCM4, MCM5, MCM6 and MCM7 are enumerated. A vertical part (both by a biopsy and a smear sample), a breast, a rectum, a lung, a bladder, a skin, a larynx, an esophagus, a bronchia, a lymph node and a unirnary tact (both by a biopsy and a cytologic smear sample) in the decison of a cancerous and precancerous cell and a proliferation abnormality as well as a cell centrifuged from urine, blood and serum in the evidence of a hematological malignant tumor and in the decision of a metastatic sarcoma and cancer are included in the test sample.
