PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use no greenhouse gas, to easily secure silence, to compactify a size, and to reduce a cost. SOLUTION: This cooling system A is provided with a double shaft motor 1, a scroll type compressor 2 attached in one end of the motor 1, a scroll type expander 3 attached to the other end of the motor 1, a compressed air supplying passage 4 for communicating an exhaust port 2d of the scroll type compressor 2 with a suction port 3a of the scroll type expander 3, and a heat-exchanger 5, a dehumidifier 6 and a safety valve 7 arranged in the compressed air supplying passage 4. In the cooling system A, the quietness is easily secured compared with one using a compression cylinder or an expansion cylinder because the scroll type compressor 2 and the scroll type expander 3 are used, the system A is suitable for high-speed rotation, and formed into a low capacity, no crank mechanism and no valve system are required to compactify the size and to reduce the production cost.
