PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate swelling of an outer flap of an outer corrugated board which is caused by fastening a band. SOLUTION: A main body 3 of an air conditioner is placed on a lower cushioning bodies 2 arranged at left and right sides inside a bottom plate 1 composed of a corrugated board and then is covered with an outer corrugated board 6. One side of a reinforcing corner plate 5 is fitted into a space between the inner corner surface of the bottom plate 1 and the lower cushioning body 2 and then is raised. The left and right parts of the upper part of the main body 3 of the air conditioner are covered with upper cushioning bodies 4a, 4b, respectively. Inner flaps 6a, 6b formed on the left and right parts of the upper part of the outer corrugated board 6 are bent on the upper surfaces of these upper cushioning bodies 4a, 4b. Outer flaps 6c, 6d formed on the front and rear parts of the upper part thereof are subsequently bent and are then wound and fastened with a band 7. Protrusions 6c', 6d' which are alternately superposed upon the upper surfaces of the facing outer flaps 6c, 6d when the outer flaps 6c, 6d are bent are provided at the tips of the outer flaps 6c, 6d.
