Signals from a test transmitter (4) control the position of a synchronous motor (2) during normal operation. Sensors determine the motor's current actual positions. A control unit (3) has a position control unit fed with input values as signals for the test transmitter and a fault-recognition circuit (8) to detect defects in the test transmitter's connection. An Independent claim is also included for a device for operating a synchronous motor. |
