<p>A tap having a flexible hose 4 for delivering water and a support 5 for the flexible hose. The support 5 comprises a channel with an open mouth along its length. The flexible hose 4 is removably mounted in the channel such that it is supported along at least the majority of its length and can be removed by lifting out of the mouth of the channel. When removed from its support the flexible hose 4 extends the reach of the tap, and when mounted in the support it is kept in an orderly position where it does not interfere with e.g. washing and cooking. Preferably the channel is U-shaped and has a semi-circular cross section, which conforms to the shape of the hose. The hose 4 may have a spray head 6 at its distal end, attached by a clip 7. Also disclosed are methods of attaching the hose and support to the tap body.</p> |
