PURPOSE: Provided is a lubricating oil composition which is suitable for continuously variable transmission requiring driving power transmit performance and speed change performance. CONSTITUTION: The lubricating oil composition comprises a base oil comprising a mixture of a mineral oil and a synthetic oil in a mixing ratio of 6:4; 2 to 5 % by weight of a fatty acid and a sulfur compound; 1 to 3 % by weight of a fatty acid and phosphorus compound; 2 to 5 % by weight of zinc dithiophosphate; 1 to 3 % by weight of calcium sulfonate; and 1 to 3 % by weight of magnesium dinonylnaphthalene sulfide. The lubricating oil composition increases the absolute value of friction index while maintaining the ratio of dynamic friction index to static friction index.
