PURPOSE: A device for binding a book of an image forming device is provided to stably support papers discharged from a copier by a grip element driven by a worm gear and a cam. CONSTITUTION: A bookbinding position setting device(88) includes a jogger(61) movable by a sliding element, and a paper grip element(33) installed at the jogger. The paper grip element includes a cam element(20), a return spring(31), and a grip plate(30) having a paper grip part. The grip plate is pushed up to an upper position by rotation of the cam element while descending by the weight of the grip plate and the return spring. Papers are gripped between the paper grip part of the descended grip plate and the jogger.
